2. United Kingdom Legal Basis
UK GDPR – Article 6(1)(f)

Data Protection Act 2018  
Confirms the lawfulness of processing data relating to public officials and defines “public authority” and the conditions for lawful processing.
Freedom of Information Act 2000  
Affirms the public’s right to access information held by public authorities, including the names, roles, and functions of officials.
ICO Guidance
